 BLAST's strategy for the Dota 2 Tournament over the next two years entails hosting five concurrent tournaments, all aimed at delivering an exceptional experience for fans of the game. Andrew Haworth, Vice President of Ecosystem at Valve & Riot Games, articulated that this initiative marks BLAST's second foray into enhancing the Dota 2 competitive landscape. This approach underscores BLAST's commitment to fostering the growth and development of the Dota 2 community, offering enthusiasts an array of high-quality tournaments to engage with and enjoy.

   

 “This is the second time when BLAST has set foot in the world of Dota 2. Their first attempt was made in 2020, during the pandemic when they proposed a different approach to the competitive scene through BLAST Bounty Hunt. "The event is being held online and proposes a format inspired by fan favorite Midas Mode," he explained.

    “Four years later, BLAST announced its commitment to Dota 2 with more than just tournament dates,” he said.

    Andrew admitted that he was happy with BLAST's seriousness in advancing the competitive Dota 2 scene. "We are happy to be entering Dota 2 and have plans for BLAST to bring a new level of production and excitement that Dota fans have never seen before," he said.
